A GitHub blog, usefull to me, hope the same for you.
With you keyboard, your brain and a simple FOR loop in GLSL you can some make art work with 3D without any complex framework or software.
We draw two triangles forming a rectangle covering the whole screen. All the program logic is in the fragment shader that shades the pixels of these triangles !
This seems totally crazy to me because these programs should be executed for every pixed on screen, they should be very optimized and compact. The ray marching algorithm is perfect for this. Let’s read what Inigo is writing in this presentation, we can easylly imagine attendees quite surprised !
